ALL Life Will Returned To Allah

“Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things has Power”. Al-Mulk:1

The concept from Allah we came to Allah we will be returned is one of the highest pillars in the faith of Islam. Every faithful man knew and believed from where he came and to where he will be returned. He came from Allah and to Allah he will be returned.

The true Muslim realized that he did not come from nothing and shall be return to nothing; he did not come from dust and return to the dust; he did not come from soil and return to soil; he did not come from universe and return to universe. He realized that he came from Allah and will return to Allah.

Every man should accept the concept that we came from Allah and will be return to Allah, because it is the true concept that guided the human being to be a faithful man all the times in his life. So that he will not do anything that will turn him to be the traitor to the Almighty God, the Creator. That is no other god than God.

“Verily, verily, your God is One!”.As-Saffat: 4

Every faithful man believed that he was born not because of his want or because of their parent desire or nafs, or because of some hidden mysteriously forces that unknown to him. He believed that he came to the world not by deaf and blind accidentally and will be return the nothing. Instead he believed that he came from Allah and will be return to Allah.

“Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun!”. As-Saffat:5

Every believer believed that when the times come he will return to the God mercy, and it is not the end of it. He will stay in “barzakh” waiting to continue his journey to see Allah on the day of Judging. Allah will judge his fate on that day in accordance to what his has done during his life time in the world. His dead is only transformation from this mortal world to the eternal world.

He knew that when his death comes his mortal body will be eaten by worms in his grave and at last lost in the earth or in the sands. What has happen to this body that make some men think that all men will go to nowhere when die and will not live again as believed by religious men.

The true believer convinced that although his mortal body has dead and lost but his soul is eternal and live forever. It is in barzakh and waiting God to transform his life to live in the next immortal world.

They believed that they were born in this world as a God servant and as servant he was abide to God. It is his duty to do what Allah has instructed him to do during his living in this world. He can’t ignore Allah command and do anything that he wanted to do encourage by his nafs or desire that always urged man to do all sorts of sins that at last will throw them in the hellfire.

So that when his time has come to return to the mercy of God he has to show and prove to Allah all the good deeds he has done in this mortal world and he will be given fair and good rewards from God. Otherwise if he is a sinner, did many bad things in this mortal world and did not repent, he will receive the Will of God, and send to the hell.

The true believer convinced that all things in this world have limitless time to live, and when the time come all will die. Looking through the open doors from where I am now, I can see a dead tree sprout its dry stem in the green bush near my house. I still remember a few months ago the tree still alive and stood there with the heavy green leaves. Yesterday when I looked at the flowers pots in front of my house, I found that one plant was dry and dead, instead a few days ago the plant still alive with green leaves and a beautiful flower on the top of it. Before I have my dad, but about three decade ago he was gone. Before I have my mom, but about a decade ago she was gone. Before I have my wife live happily with me and the family, but about one year ago she was gone. They all are gone forever to the Mercy off God and never will return to this world. In fact the whole universe also has a short life to live and when the fixed time comes it will be dead and perish to ashes. Nothing is immortal in this world.

When the time come all the souls will be return to the dead body than they will alive again, to be judge by Allah what he had done during his life time in this mortal world. Everyone will be given rewards or punishment justly based on the fact what he had done in this world. Nothing will be left without judgment, whether it is small or big. The result will be placed ye in the Heaven or in the hell. That world is immortal.

The faithful man knew exactly his place in this world, he knew from where he came from, and to where he will go. He knew the both ends, the beginning line and finish line in his way of life. So he knew his targets in his life in this world. The knowledge will always keep him on the straight path to reach his destination and it will not drift him to nowhere like a dry leaf in the stream of water during the flood. He will not hesitate to take his way in his life and where he will go.

The concept that man came from nowhere and will return to nowhere, or man came from soil and will be return to soil is a concept from the dark ages before Islam came into being and appeared all the time of human history. Such concept came from the ignorant and blinded men who did not understand the man duty to the Almighty God. The concept showed the shallow knowledge they have to understand the duty of every human being to God. How arrogant they are!

But this concept will be alive from time to time, because it was very attractive to the men who like to live freely like animals without brains to think what is good and what is bad not only to him but to all the human race of the world. This concept is the source of all the misleading, arrogant and extreme thinking and believing people of the past, during this present time and in the next time to come. Those people who take and perform this concept in their life surely will be destroyed in this world or in the next world that surely will come when the time arrive.

Although the body have been eaten by wild animals, burned to ashes, or eaten by worms that will not hinder him to return to Allah, because the fact of life is not only the body but his soul that immortal. The soul will live forever. All men will be return to Allah whether he is big or small, weak or strong, stupid or brilliant, and low or high in their life. All are the same. Allah will judge them justly and give His verdict.

One must realize that God is closer to us than we are to ourselves. As Allah said in the Koran, “I am closer to you than your jugular vein”. But how is this nearness?

One of the great Sufi of our time had given the answer, “It is like the nearness of the coffee and the sugar. The sugar is closer to the coffee than the coffee is to itself. You must come to realize this, not understand it with the intellect-realize it. Realize it in yourself. It is not like one hand getting closer to other hand. It is different. Understand this”.

But to be nearest to Allah one must be a Muslim. Allah had said in the Koran, “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, [submission to Allah] never will it be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost [all spiritual good]”. Ali-Imran:85.

And it is the duty of the Muslim, man and woman, to invite people, all humanity to the Way of Allah, that is to Islam, the only religious accepted by Allah.

Allah had said in the Koran, “Invite [all] to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious; for your Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance”. An- Nahl:125.

Dr.Kaukab Siddique in his comment about the verse of the Koran , said that the call to Islam cannot be given in haphazard and confusing way. The Caller to Islam should be aware of and have a good understanding of the mission of Islam. The very first essential of the methodology is hikmah or wisdom. Further more he said, the Caller should know the society in which he/she lives and be aware of the basic problems which could be troubling his/her audience. The message he said must be backed up by solid reasoning, facts, information and understanding.

Secondly he said the preaching must be beautiful, it should inspire and awaken the soul of the hearer. The caller must be highly motivated and care strongly for the message before the message can be given with success. The style of the call must not be abusive, insensitive or egocentric.

He reminded the Caller that there will be those who will differ with him and debate all that his say. He asked the Caller to argue with them in a way which shows that he care for the Truth and for them as people. He asked the Caller to avoid unnecessary argument.

Of course, the best way of giving the Call is to live according to the values of Islam.

He ended his advice to the Caller to Islam not to decide himself who will be guided and who will remain astray. Only Allah knows that. He said the Muslim’s mission is to give the message and give it in the best possible way”.

He urged the Caller not to insult Muslims by treating them like non-Muslims, and also asked him to remember that his non-Muslim neighbour has as much right to get the message of Islam from him, perhaps more, than the Muslims living in another country.

Food for Thought:

In Bukhari, “Wahb was asked , “ Is it not true that uttering Sahadah is the key to paradise?”. He said, “Yes. But every key has a certain teeth. If you are to bring a key with teeth, it will open the door. Otherwise, it will not”. He means by the teeth both worshipping Allah and adopting monotheism].
