WHAT DID WE HAVE IN CAMERON HIGHLAND?

“Do they no travel through the land, so that their heart [and minds] may thus learn wisdom”. -Al-Hajj [22]: 46.

We arrived at Cameron Highland on Monday, 16 December 2019. We were with two families and I my daughter Noor Baiti Zaini and his family and my son Ahmad Syaibani Zaini and his family. We drove with two mobiles from Kota Bharu, Kelantan early in the morning.

Cameron Highland is one of the popular resort  in Malaysia. It’s a cold place, in the state Of Pahang. It is 712-18 square kilometre, to the North is the state of Kelantan and to the West is the state of Perak. It is 307.8 kilometre from Kota Bharu and  300 kilometre from the state of Selangor.

It was not the first time we went to Cameron Highland. Usually we took about five hours to arrive there from Kota Bharu by car, but on the last trip we took more than seven hours. This was because of the heavy traffic jam at Cameron Highland.

We were informed latter that the traffic jam was happened every day from a few years ago, mostly during the school holidays. At this times the prices of all goods in the market were higher than usual, including foods at the stall and night market.

At last we safely arrived at our rented apartment at Tanah Rata. I felt that the weather was very cold to me, but not the other including children of my grand sons and daughters. They did not show any effect of the cold weather, contrary played happily among themselves.

I was informed about the cold weather one day before we depart from Kota Bharu, because of the raining season of the year in East Coast of Malaysia. At first I made a decision not to go to Cameron Highland with family because of the cold weather. But at the second  thought at the last night I changed my mind to go to Cameron Highland.

It was because a few years had pass since I visited Cameron Highland, and I also felt I like to see what Allah had created in the heaven and the universe that contained His Signs and Power for His creature to think.

There were many Signs of Allah in this huge universe. The signs that could be see, hear and taste.

-The change from light to dark and versa.and vice versa

-The changed from night to day and vice versa.

-The change from hot to cold and vice verca.

-The change from high to low and vice verca.

-The plants, rivers and seas.

The signs of Allah also could be seen in the heaven, the creation of sun, moon, stars, clouds and so on.

What we should do was only to swiftly our mind to Allah, Lord of the world.

At the evening on the first day we we visited some places of our interest, included Rose Garden, Tea Plantation and strawberry farm.

At night we went to night market and buy some food for our dinner. The prices of the food were higher than usual, because of the long school holidays at the end of the year.

On the way home next day we stop at some market to buy some goods to bring home, mostly some food and dress, mostly dresses and cheap ornaments for our children. We also bought some honeys and teas for us and family at home.

On the way home the traffic at Cameron Highland was also jam but did not heavy.

As usual we stop at the mosque that was said situated at the border state of Pahang and Kelantan.

When we arrivea at home the early night had fall.

Alhamdulillah.Thank You Allah.
